Breaking the Cycle of Weight Gain with Trim 7

The root causes of weight gain are complex and there is no ‘one size fits all’ solution. In a previous blog, we discussed the role of nutrition and how poor diets and eating habits are key factors that drive weight gain. In this article we will continue the conversation with explaining how the cycle of weight gain occurs within your body and how certain natural plant extracts may compliment lifestyle modification in weight management.

The Biological Cycle of Weight Gain

The cycle of weight gain is affected by the choices you make on an everyday basis. In a previous blog, we discussed the role of nutrition and how poor diets and eating habits are key factors that drive weight gain. These unhealthy habits initiate a chain of events in your body (e.g., biological cycle of weight gain), which may become progressively worse over time unless the cycle is broken (Figure 1).

On the other hand, healthy habits, such as a nutritious diet, mindful eating techniques, and exercise, break the cycle of weight gain and are the cornerstones of weight management. Supplements, including certain plant extracts, antioxidants, and vitamins found in Trim 7, may also be helpful to break the cycle as explained next (steps 1-4):

  1. BODY FAT GAIN. Excess sugars and fats from your diet are absorbed from your gut, which stimulate hormone release (read more about carbs, fats, insulin, and insulin resistance here). This causes fat from your food to be stored rather than broken down for energy, leading to your fat cells to swell in size and your waistline to increase.
